Burnley's Robbie Brady celebrates scoring
Robbie Brady made his first start for the Clarets after joining in January from Hull.
And he capped his full debut by curling an excellent free-kick past Thibaut Courtois.
Burnley had chances to win the game but Keane was delighted his team-mates' response in the 1-1 draw after falling behind early on.
He said: "Chelsea came out of the blocks strong and caught us cold in the first five minutes. But we have confidence and didn't let it affect us.
"We never give in - the manager instills it in us - and it showed today. We defended really well as a team and kept our shape.
