Recent reports have suggested the Frenchman will be offered a four-year contract worth £300,000 a week in order to link up with good friend Paul Pogba.
Originally, it was thought that Griezmann would move to Old Trafford on the provision that United finish in the top four.
And according to the Sunday Mirror, United are hoping to haggle on Griezmann’s asking price.

It is thought United chiefs would be prepared to pay as much as £60m for the 25-year-old.
However, it is believed Griezmann would join United even if they miss out on the Champions League next season.
Griezmann’s image adviser, Sebastien Bellencontre, admitted last week a move to Old Trafford would be perfect for his client.
“When I read articles on a hypothetical transfer to Manchester United, I have to say this would be the ideal scenario in marketing,” he said.
“He would play for the same club as Beckham, his idol, with the same legendary No 7 in the back.”
