Mourinho urged United to ease the goalscoring burden on Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
And both Mata and Martial rose to the occasion, scoring on a rare-off day for the club’s veteran striker.
4) Strong sting
Watford went into the game after back to back wins against Burnley and Arsenal.
And though the Hornets were beaten at Old Trafford they showed plenty of toughness on a tricky afternoon.
