However, Mata escaped a red when he lunged in late on Jamie Vardy in the first-half.
And Jenas reckons the referee Anthony Taylor was probably reluctant to give the Spanish playmaker his marching orders.
Discussing the incident, Jenas told BBC’s Match of the Day 2: “I think the fact it’s Juan Mata maybe saves him.

“If you slow it down, Mata pulls out and it is the right decision.

United are two points off fourth-placed Arsenal.
