Chelsea transfer shock: Asmir Begovic and Nathan Ake could both join Bournemouth
BOURNEMOUTH are reportedly plotting a shock bid for Chelsea defender Nathan Ake.
Nathaniel Chalobah welcomes Nathan Ake to Chelsea
And Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is also desperate to land Blues goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
Ake was loaned to the Cherries at the start of the season and made a big impression during his time on the south cost.
Chelsea then opted to recall him earlier this month with manager Antonio Conte impressed by his displays.
Nathan Ake could be set for a shock return to Bournemouth
However, the Mirror claim Bournemouth want to bring Ake back to Dean Court.
Eddie Howe wants to re-sign Ake and can guarantee him regular football - something the Blues cannot.
Bournemouth have looked at replacements but Howe is ready to chance his arm late in the transfer window.
Bournemouth are also keen on Asmir Begovic
It is claimed, however, that both deals hinge on Chelsea signing replacements before tonight’s 11pm deadline.
The Blues are continuing to press ahead with a bid for Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon to replace Begovic.
And Bournemouth’s late interest in Ake is forcing Chelsea to look at Schalke’s Sead Kolisinac.
