Carl Jenkinson has had a tough season with injuries and has made just five appearances for Arsenal this term.
The right-back was forced to miss the start of the season and has not been named in the match-day squad for the past 10 games.
Crystal Palace were linked with a move for the 24-year-old, but Arsene Wenger has claimed a move this month for the defender is unlikely.

"We are still open [to Jenkinson leaving] because we have many players in that position," Wenger said.
"But at the moment it doesn’t look like it will happen."
And Wenger has suggested he does not expect to bring in any players this month either, claiming he has a strong squad.
"On our front, we have a big squad and don’t need to buy," Wenger added.
"Generally, it has been very quiet.
"It shows there are not many players available who can strengthen the Premier League teams."
