EXPRESS SPORT brings you the latest Leeds transfer news.
Leeds expect to sign West Ham striker Ashley Fletcher
According to the Daily Mail, Leeds expect to sign West Ham striker Ashley Fletcher on loan for the rest of the season.
Fletcher, 21, joined West Ham in the summer from Manchester United but he has started just three games for Slaven Bilic's side this term.
The England Under-20 international is reportedly keen on a temporary Elland Road switch, while Leeds boss Garry Monk is said to be an admirer of his work rate.
Leeds want £7m Swansea winger Mo Barrow
Leeds have reportedly set their sights on Swansea winger Mo Barrow.
The 24-year-old has fallen down the pecking order under new Swans boss Paul Clement, who recently signed PSV Eindhoven winger Luciano Narsingh.
And according to The Sun, Leeds will go head-to-head with Southampton and Championship rivals Aston Villa and Newcastle for the 24-year-old's signature.
Swansea are said to want £7million for the Gambia international.
Garry Monk expects new signings after Alex Mowatt sale
Leeds boss Monk is expecting his club to bring in new players after they sold midfielder Alex Mowatt to Barnsley, who are said to have spent around £500,000 on the 21-year-old.
“It was something that I was made aware of a couple of days ago – that there was interest in him,” said Monk.
“And then I was told it was pretty much far down the line so I can only assume that that means that the club are 100 per cent sure that the players that we have identified and that we have requested to come and help strengthen will be here.
“Alex has been fantastic. He’s great to work with and obviously from his playing perspective it will be that he has not had as much game time as he’d have liked."
