JOSE MOURINHO has given hope of more playing time to Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Schweinsteiger has made just two substitute appearances for Manchester United this season - in the FA Cup and EFL Cup.
The 32-year-old was left out of United's Europa League squad for the first-half of the season but Mourinho insists he will include him for the rest of the campaign.
And after being overlooked for Tuesday's EFL Cup semi-final second leg clash with Hull, the former Germany captain will be back in contention against Wigan later today.
The Red Devils take on the Championship outfit at Old Trafford in the FA Cup fourth round at 4pm.
Mourinho said: "Bastian stayed in Manchester when we played Hull City, so normally he will come into the squad. As for Europe, yes of course."

Schweinsteiger joined United from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2015 under Louis van Gaal and failed to live up to expectations in his debut Premier League campaign.
United continue their Europa League campaign next month when they host Ligue 1 outfit Saint-Etienne at Old Trafford on February 16, with the trip to France a week later.
