Mark Warburton sings praises of Emerson Hyndman after marking debut with a goal
RANGERS manager Mark Warburton watched loan signing Emerson Hyndman steal the show as his 10- man team moved back into second spot after a stormy 2-0 win at Motherwell.

Last weekend the Light Blues knocked Well out of the Scottish Cup with two late strikes from Kenny Miller – and he was a thorn in their side again yesterday.
In the 72nd minute the hitman finished off a move started by Hyndman, and the on-loan Bournemouth youngster then capped his first start with the clincher three minutes from time.
That led to praise from Warburton, who saw Michael O’Halloran red-carded after only four minutes and Well’s Scott McDonald follow suit before the half-hour mark, both for reckless tackles.

He said: “Emerson is positive, his first thought is to play forward. That’s the sign of a very good player.
“To make his full debut in that manner, I’m delighted.”
Meanwhile, Port Vale keeper Jak Alnwick appears to be on his way to Rangers, who tabled £200,000 for the 21-year-old on Friday.
When asked if yesterday’s 3-2 defeat at Scunthorpe was Alnwick’s last game, Vale boss Michael Brown said: “It possibly could be, there is a good chance of that.”
