Paul Merson: My prediction for Sutton v Leeds clash
PAUL MERSON believes Leeds could struggle against non-league side Sutton in their FA Cup fourth-round tie on Sunday (2pm).
Garry Monk expecting difficult challenge for Garry Monk's Leeds
Leeds are flying high in the Championship this season, sitting third in the table after winning 18 of their 28 league games.
Garry Monk's side had to come from behind away at League Two oufit Cambridge earlier this month to reach the FA Cup fourth round.
Sutton beat 10-man Wimbledon in FA Cup third round
While Sutton, who are struggling in 15th place in the National League, beat League One opponents AFC Wimbledon after a third-round replay.
And pundit Merson is expecting Sutton to earn another valuable replay at Elland Road with a 1-1 stalemate at Gander Green Lane this weekend.
Merson told Sky Sports: "This tie embodies the FA Cup! Sutton play on a 3G pitch so that makes things even more interesting.
"Leeds rested a lot of players in round three at Cambridge and with Newcastle potentially catchable, they could rest again.
"I fancy Sutton to hold Leeds to a replay and book a trip to Elland Road."
