Leeds striker transfer: Agent reveals three clubs in for star and how much he will go for
LEEDS must pay at least £2.5million to sign Massimo Coda, according to his agent.
Leeds are interested in signing Massimo Coda
The 28-year-old is currently plying his trade at Serie B side Salernitana and has been linked with a move to Leeds this month.
But Leeds will face competition for Coda with his representative, Beppe Gall, telling Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb that he’s a man in demand.
Salernitana owner Claudio Lotitio wants at least £2.5m for Coda
“I think there were two or three requests but Claudio Lotito [Salernitana’s owner] wants £2.5m," Gall said when quizzed about interest from Leeds and Serie A clubs.
“I am happy with the requests because it means Coda is being noticed.”
Leeds boss Garry Monk could be in the market for a new forward with Chris Wood being linked with a move to the Premier League with Sunderland and West Ham.

But won't let his prized asset leave on the cheap - with the club slapping a £15m price tag on him.
However, should he leave Monk could turn his attention to Coda, who has scored 45 goals in 16 appearances for Salernitana since signing from Parma in 2015.
Coda is contracted to the Italian club until 2018.
