Arsenal News: Chilean star demands break ahead of Bayern Munich Champions League tie
ARTURO VIDAL says he needs a break if he's to be available for Bayern Munich's Champions League tie against Arsenal next month.

Vidal, 29, sustained a rib injury during the club's 2017 Telekom Cup success against Mainz on January 14.
And he aggravated the problem further against Freiburg on Friday evening, despite being passed fit to play by Bayern's medical team.

The Bundesliga champions are due to host Arsenal at the Allianz Arena in the first leg of their Champions League round-of-16 tie on February 15.
And the Chilean international, who's made 22 appearances in all competitions this season, insists that he needs time to recover before the clash.

He told German publication TZ: "I feel bad.
"I've got severe pain in the ribs. I can't play like this and must take a break now.

"Anyway, I've already missed a week's training. Now it looks like I'll need at least a further two or three weeks' break.
"Only by doing this can I completely recover. Then we will see how I feel for the Champions League game."
