That is according to the Sunday Mirror, who claim Real Madrid are dead set on landing Chelsea’s Courtois in the summer.
Real tried and failed to sign Courtois before the start of the season, despite the Belgium international’s desire to return to Spain.
Courtois enjoyed a three-year loan spell at Atletico Madrid before returning to Chelsea to be their No1 stopper.
But he could quit the Stamford Bridge club at the end of this term, it is claimed.
According to the report, Real have set aside £26m (€30m) to bring Courtois back to Spain, with talks between the camps already having taken place.

Chelsea are said to be open to a deal for the 24-year-old but only if Real consent to letting Alvaro Morata head in the opposite direction.
Real re-signed striker Morara from Juventus last summer and are not interested in letting the Spain international go.
