Rio Ferdinand makes bold Wayne Rooney prediction for Manchester United against Liverpool
RIO FERDINAND says Wayne Rooney WILL break the Manchester United goalscoring record today against Liverpool (4pm).
Rooney equals Bobby Charlton's record with historic goal
Wayne Rooney equalled Sir Bobby Charlton's all-time Manchester United record with his 249th goal in the 4-0 FA Cup win over Reading last week.
At 31 years old it is more a question of 'when' rather than 'if' Rooney will score his 250th United goal.
The England captain has scored just one Premier League goal this season with Jose Mourinho proving he's not scared to drop him from the starting line-up.

"This is the game where Wayne Rooney will break the record," he said in a video on his Twitter. "You've heard it here first.
"I know you're watching Wayne… And when you do I expect a phone call and a thank you.
