Slaven Bilic makes Dimitri Payet vow after West Ham star asks to leave and refuses to play
SLAVEN BILIC has vowed to make Dimitri Payet suffer until he apologises for his West Ham betrayal.
West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is angry at Dimitri Payet for asking to leave
France star Payet, 29, is refusing to play for the Hammers after a £20million return to Marseille was blocked.
West Ham are refusing to sell at any price and Slaven Bilic made it clear there was only one option available to the player, who signed a five-year deal worth £125,000-a-week last February.
Payet has refused to play for West Ham against Crystal Palace on Saturday (3pm)
"This team, the boys, the staff, we gave him everything," Bilic said. "We were always there for him. I am feeling let down and angry.
"I can understand that the players are being 'tapped up' by clubs. He is not the first or the last but the team gave him everything. I cannot let it happen. No way.
Payet has scored 18 goals in 66 appearances for West Ham
"Until he changes his attitude he is out of the team and he's not going to train with us.
"But we are not going to sell him, not whatsover. I expect him to come back and show commitment and determination to the team, like the team has shown to him."
