Arsenal and Tottenham in transfer battle to sign German forward
ARSENAL and Tottenham are reportedly keeping tabs on Freiburg forward Maximilian Philipp.
Maximilian Philipp is attracting interest from Arsenal and Tottenham
The 22-year-old has scored five goals in 13 league appearances and played a key part in the club's promotion to the Bundesliga last season.
And his impressive displays have not gone unnoticed with German publication SportBild claiming that Arsenal and Tottenham are keen on securing his signature.

It is said Philipp could be available for as little as £3.4million with the Germany Under-21 international also not having a release clause in his contract.
A January deal seems unlikely due to his importance at the club, but a summer transfer could be a real possibility.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has recently bolstered his ranks with the £40,000 signing of Cohen Bramall from Non-League side Hednesford Town.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insists he will not be making any major signings this month
But admitted last month that he is unlikely to conduct any major transfer business during the winter window.
Wenger said: "There is very little hope to find players of that quality in the January transfer market so the best way to deal with that is to get our injured players back."
While Mauricio Pochettino will be keen to bring in fresh faces up-front to provide back-up for Harry Kane, with summer signing Vincent Janssen failing to live up to his £18m price tag so far.
