Simon Kjaer to Chelsea: Fenerbahce issue statement over £16m deal
FENERBAHCE have strongly dismissed claims Simon Kjaer may leave the club for Chelsea.

Blues boss Antonio Conte is keen to strengthen his back line in January despite boasting the meanest back line in the Premier League.
And reports in Italy suggested Conte wanted to bring the Denmark international to Stamford Bridge.

However the Turkish club have played down those rumours and insist the 27-year-old is happy.
The statement on the Fenerbahce website said: "A number of recent reports have falsely claimed that Chelsea have made an offer for our Danish player Simon Kjaer.

"Fenerbahce have not received any offers whatsoever for Kjaer and any claims suggesting a transfer could take place are wrong.
"Kjaer is a happy and successful member of our team.

"We would like to ask our fans to disregard such lies and manipulative reports that aim to disrupt our team."
Earlier this week Chelsea recalled Nathan Ake from Bournemouth and the south coast side responded by making an approach for John Terry.
