Express Sport understands United have agreed a £22m move with Everton for Schneiderlin.
The Frenchman will undergo a medical with the Merseyside outfit today before his switch is officially confirmed.
Schneiderlin has failed to impress Jose Mourinho since the Portuguese arrived at Old Trafford in the summer and he has been limited to just three Premier League appearances this season.

And while Mourinho admits he is sad to be seeing the 27-year-old leave, he hopes Schneiderlin will become a key player for the Toffees.
He said: "I’m sad, but I’m also happy.
"I’m sad because I like him and he could be an option for us in a long season.

"But I’m happy for him because he wants to play and be an important player for the team. So I’m happy for a very good person, someone I only have good things to say about."
Schneiderlin joined United 18 months ago from Southampton in a £24m move with his only silverware coming in United’s FA Cup triumph last season and their FA Community Shield victory over Leicester in August.
