PREMIER LEAGUE games are under threat this weekend as an Arctic storm sweeps across the UK.
Premier League fixtures are at risk due to an Arctic storm
The UK is braced for polar conditions at the weekend which could spell havoc for the Premier League fixture list.
The Met Office has issued warnings about the storm as it sweeps westwards, bring with it temperatures as low as -10 degrees.
The north of England, Scotland and North Wales are expected to bare the brunt of the weather which could cause widespread cancellation of the weekend's games.

Snow storm leaves six people dead in Italy
Manchester United, Burnley, Everton, Sunderland and Leicester all play at home this weekend and are at risk.
The fears are not necessarily about the state of the grounds - many of which have under-soil heating - but more so the conditions for travelling fans.
The storm has lessened in intensity in the last 24 hours but its freezing temperatures could still pose a problem for the UK.
33 people have already been killed by the storm as it swept across Europe where the mercury has dropped to as low a -30 degrees.
“Next weekend we could be into minus double figures overnight, so a big change in the weather on the way and possibly the coldest spell of winter so far," the Met Office said.
Some bookmakers are even offering odds of 4/1 for every Premier League game to be called off.
Leicester's game against Chelsea could also be called off
The games most at risk of being called off are:
Burnley v Southampton
Sunderland v Stoke
Leicester v Chelsea
Everton v Manchester City
Manchester United v Liverpool
