Olivier Giroud has claimed he is close to agreeing a new contract with Arsenal.
"We're on the verge of reaching an agreement for an extension," Giroud told French broadcaster Telefoot.
"It’s also a sign of confidence and I want to continue my adventure here in this Arsenal family, and I feel very good here.

Chelsea legend Ray Wilkins has admitted he is not a fan of Antonio-Conte signing Marcos Alonso.
Alonso joined the Blues in the summer from Fiorentina for £25m but Wilkins thinks it was a bad bit of business.
“I’m not a lover of Alonso,” Wilkins told Sky Sports. “I don’t think Bertrand should have left.
“They’ve spent £50m trying to replace Ryan and they sold him for £10m. So I’m not a great fan of Alonso - he’s doing okay."
