Juventus plot Premier League raid: Chelsea and Manchester City stars set to join
JUVENTUS are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea and Manchester City stars Branislav Ivanovic and Gael Clichy as free agents at the end of the season.
Chelsea star Branislav Ivanovic could move to Juventus
Ivanovic has fallen down the pecking order at Chelsea following the appointment of Antonio Conte as manager last summer.
The Serbia international has been at Stamford Bridge since 2007 but, with his contract up in the summer, is expected to leave as a free agent at the end of the season.
Clichy’s current deal at Manchester City also expires in July.
Gael Clichy is expected to leave Manchester City
And Italian website Calcio Mercato claim that both players are now on the radar of Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri.
Juventus are looking to bolster their squad with two veterans set to depart.
Stefan Lichtsteiner could leave for a new challenge even if he signs a new deal at the Serie A giants.
Patrice Evra reportedly has an offer to return to Manchester United
And it is claimed that Patrice Evra has an offer on the table to return to former club Manchester United.
Ivanovic could replace Lichtsteiner - though the veteran has also been linked with a move to Barcelona.
And Clichy may fill the void left by Evra’s departure should the defender opt for a return to Old Trafford.
