Giroud broke the deadlock at the Emirates with a stunning scorpion kick goal early in the first-half, with Alex Iwobi wrapping up the 2-0 win with a second-half header.
The 30-year-old believes it’s the best goal of his career but admits it needed luck to go in.

When asked about his strike after the game, the Frenchman told Sky Sports: "I have maximum luck, it’s just about luck.
"Not at all have I done anything like that before. I tried to deflect it, I think it’s my best one."
Crystal Palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey was left in awe by Giroud’s strike but admits his side must improve against fellow relegation battlers Swansea on Tuesday.

"Obviously it was a wonder goal, there seems to be a lot of wonder goals going in recently," Hennessey said.
"I haven't seen it again but it’s hit the bar and gone in so it’s a fantastic strike from him.
"The Swansea game is one we need to win, so hopefully we can get three points from that."
