Manchester United and Manchester City to go head to head for Serie A star
MANCHESTER UNITED and Manchester City are set to battle it out for Juventus ace Alex Sandro, according to reports.
Sandro has helped Juventus win 14 of their first 17 league games in Serie A this term.
His fine form has not gone unnoticed with several European giants keeping tabs on him.
And Italian website Calcio Mercato claim that Manchester United and Manchester City are desperate to snap him up.

United are in need of a left-back with Jose Mourinho said to be unconvinced by the current players at his disposal.

City, meanwhile, have an ageing squad that Pep Guardiola is keen to bolster when the transfer window reopens next month.

Aleksandar Kolarov and Gael Clichy are both over 30 and City need reinforcements in order to keep their hopes of catching Chelsea at the top of the table alive.
However, both clubs will have to stump up big money to bring him to the Premier League.
Juventus are desperate to keep him at the club - particularly after securing new deals for Leonardo Bonucci and Paulo Dybala - meaning Sandro could fetch a fee of around £50million.
The 25-year-old is seen as an alternative target to Bayern Munich's David Alaba who has been linked with a move to both Manchester clubs.
