Everton are without captain Phil Jagielka who is serving a one-match ban after being sent off against Arsenal.
Liverpool have stuck with goalkeeper Simon Mignolet who replaced Loris Karius in the 3-0 win at Middlesbrough.
Joel Matip remains sidelined for the Reds with a persistent ankle problem but Emre Can returns to the bench after a knee injury.

Everton have a dismal record in the derby with Liverpool losing just once in the past 14 Premier League meetings between the two sides.
However, Divock Origi is not underestimating their local rivals and expects 'a war' at Goodison Park this evening (8pm).
“It will be a war,” Origi said.

“We go there in a very positive way. You want to win this game, you know it will not be easy.
“It is a derby so it will be special and a very big and important game for us as a club.
“I am happy to express myself in a positive manner, but I think this is only the beginning. I am feeling better and better."
