Jose Mourinho hopes to have Eric Bailly fit to face Sunderland and Middlesbrough
Jose Mourinho is confident of having the Ivory Coast international back in action for United's last two home games of the month against Sunderland and Middlesbrough.
The 22-year-old will miss today's trip to face West Brom, though, with Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones expected to battle it out for a place in the heart of defence.
When asked about the severity of Bailly's injury, Mourinho told Sky Sports: "I don't know how long, but no surgery.
"By the movement on the pitch we thought meniscus but no. It's a question to see the evolution. Hopefully we have him for these last two matches at home."
