Everton boss Ronald Koeman: I will be looking for a Yannick Bolasie replacement in January
RONALD KOEMAN has been left to count the cost of losing £25 million forward Yannick Bolasie for a year as he looks to stop the rot at Everton.
Yannick Bolasie - 5 things you need to know
After a blistering start to the campaign, Everton have won just once in 10 league and cup games and now have to cope without the former Palace star.
Bolasie injured his cruciate knee ligaments in a tackle with Manchester United’s Anthony Martial on Sunday and could be sidelined for 12 months.
And now the Goodison manager admits he will have to try and make a move to sign a replacement in the January transfer window.

Yannick Bolasie is out for the season
Ronald Koeman said: “We are still looking for some good options and maybe it is more necessary now than it was before because we have lost Yannick for a long time.
“It’s a big loss for everybody - for the player, his team mates, the whole club.
“It’s a long-term injury. He’s travelling to London and then will have a second opinion about an operation.
Gerard Deulofeu could benefit from Bolasie's injury to gain more minutes
“Normally, the operation will be next week. It’s really a big disappointment for everybody.”
The likes of Gerard Deulofeu, Enner Valencia and Aaron Lennon could all get more game time in Bolasie’s absence.
And Koeman said: “Of course it’s an opportunity for other players who did not play a lot.
“We know we need competition for places and a big squad. It's a big month coming up with a lot of games and we need everybody at a good level.”
