MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly interested in signing Internacional youngster Ramon Carvalho.
Manchester United are ready to swoop for Internacional youngster Ramon Carvalho
Manchester United scouts are currently in Brazil on the lookout for future talent at the Copa Ipiranga under-20 tournament.
And according to Sport Witness, they have been particularly impressed by Carvalho.
United have significantly improved their scouting system since Mourinho's arrival at Old Trafford
The midfielder starred in the 4-1 win over Corinthians - making two assists - and is now set to be watched more closely by United scouts after his eye-catching performance.
Carvalho, 19, joined Internacional in March after spells at Desportivo Brasil and Palmeiras.
But the midfielder only penned a one-year deal, which means he could soon be available on a free transfer - allowing United to swoop and secure a bargain deal.
However, Sport Witness claim that work permit issues could prove to be a stumbling block in any deal.
The report adds scouts from Arsenal, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Roma, Pescara and PSV Eindhoven are also present at the tournament.
But United will be hoping to fend off any potential interest from their rivals in Carvalho as they look to secure the best talent after significantly improving their scouting system since Jose Mourinho's appointment.
