Recent claims have suggested West Ham and Tottenham are preparing moves of their own to prise the England international from Anfield.
The Hammers in particular are thought to be keen to pay the 27-year-old a big contract to bring him to the London Stadium.
Sturridge is currently on a £150,000-a-week deal at Anfield, however has been marginalised by Jurgen Klopp this season.

However, despite his limited involvement, Klopp looks set to resist any offers for the frontman, according to the Daily Mirror.
Although Philippe Coutinho is currently sidelined with an ankle injury, Klopp won’t entertain the possibility of bringing a striker in on loan.
The Reds could be light up front, with Sadio Mane heading off to the Africa Cup of Nations, while Danny Ings is out of action for the rest of the campaign.
It is suggested Klopp will only sanction Mamadou Sakho’s departure.

“As one door closes, another one opens,” he said.
“And fitness permitting, this may be a chance for Sturridge to make his mark.”
