Kane had attracted interest from Manchester United and AC Milan after talks over a new deal at Spurs dragged on.
But the England striker always insisted his future was at White Hart Lane and has now put pen-to-paper on a deal until 2022.
"It's amazing," Kane said. "Everyone knows how much I love this team and what I feel for this club.

"To sign another contract is a special feeling. We've got a great, young squad and the club is moving in the right direction.
"I feel I'm at a stage in my life and career where it's time to take that next step."

Harry Kane had emerged as a target for Manchester United
"Really happy to have signed a new deal. Big years ahead and signing a new contract is just the start. #COYS" Kane posted.
Kane's contract is set to make him the highest-paid player in Tottenham's history.
The London Evening Standard say the 23-year-old's basic wage will be similar to the £80,000 a week goalkeeper Hugo Lloris earns.
But it is said Kane's deal has been made to include bonuses that take him up to the same bracket as his England strike rivals - Leicester's Jamie Vardy is on £120,000 a week while Liverpool's Daniel Sturridge earns £140,000 a week.
Kane has recently returned from eight weeks out with an ankle injury, scoring four goals for Tottenham in his last four games.
He has made 11 appearances for club and country this season, scoring six goals in total.
