MANCHESTER UNITED will face Hull in the semi-finals of the EFL Cup.

It is the first time since the 2013/14 campaign they have reached the last four of the competition.
United will be taking part in the semi-finals for the 14th time in their history, with only Liverpool having made more (17).

Saints earned their place after a surprise 2-0 win away to Arsenal earlier this evening.
Claude Puel’s side will be making just their third appearance in the last four of this competition.
The first leg of the ties will take place week commencing January 9, with the second leg two weeks later.
