Hull ace Tom Huddlestone is dreaming of Wembley again
Mike Phelan’s men beat Newcastle 3-1 on penalties on Tuesday to reach the last four and encourage hopes of claiming their first major trophy.
Having reached an FA Cup semi-final, final and a Championship play-off final in the past three seasons, Hull now face a two-legged semi-final in January as they seek a return to the iconic stadium.
Huddlestone said: “It was just a case of going out there and trying to make a little piece of history for the club again and thankfully we have done that.

“In the three-and-a-half years I have been here, we seem to have ticked off a few boxes for the first time for the club, so it is nice to be a part of another one. Hopefully we can get to Wembley again.”
Huddlestone scored from the spot in the shoot-out and both managers admitted their players had not practised penalties beforehand.
The former Tottenham man added: “I had a good record on penalties, but then missed two or three on the bounce.

Are these FIFA 17 goals better than the Premier League?
“I feel confident enough to take them and when our keeper [Eldin Jakupovic] saved a couple before I took mine, it made me relax a bit more and not be so worried about missing.
“Thankfully, we only took three in the end. We hadn’t practiced, but I don’t think you can replicate it anyway. It’s a case of sticking to one position and not changing your mind on the run-up.
“The semi-finals will be massive, but we have got to knuckle down in the league before January comes around.”
