Harry Redknapp exposes Chelsea’s weaknesses: Calls on Antonio Conte to sign players

Chelsea maintained their spot at the top of the Premier League with a 2-1 win over Tottenham yesterday.
It was their seventh straight league win, while Christian Eriksen’s strike for Spurs ended Chelsea’s six-game streak without conceding.
Manager Antonio Conte has utilised a 3-4-3 system during the upturn in results, with Gary Cahill, David Luiz and Cesar Azpilicueta his three defenders.
But Redknapp is concerned the back line my struggle to hold out for the season.
“I think they’re still short at left back, and I’m not convinced the three at the back can all play enough,” Redknapp told BT Sport.
“There’s not a great amount of flare in the middle of the park either.
“Obviously (Eden) Hazard is a fantastic talent who we all love to watch and (Diego) Costa is playing absolutely fantastic.”

Next Saturday Chelsea face title rivals Manchester City (12.30pm), who briefly went top of the Premier League after their win at Burnley yesterday.
Liverpool are also just a point behind the Blues as the title race hots up.
“(Chelsea) will be bang in there challenging but I’m not convinced right now you can say they’ll win the league,” Redknapp added.
“It’s wide open right now.”
