Ake, 21, left Chelsea in the summer to join Premier League rivals Bournemouth on loan, signing at the Cherries until the end of the season.

But the versatile defender has struggled for game time under Eddie Howe this term and made his first start in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Stoke.
