Jones featured as Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw by Arsenal on Saturday.
United dominated for the majority of the match yet were left to rue a third consecutive home draw.
And Jones has supported Mourinho's claim that United are unlucky but believes their fortune will change soon enough.
“He (Mourinho) is right,” Jones told the club's official website.

Juan Mata fired Manchester United into the lead against Arsenal
“Sometimes the luck is not on your side but it will change.
"We just have to keep plugging away, keep training well, keep playing and keep putting performances in like that and hopefully it will then change."
United are currently nine points off the summit - and six points behind Arsenal in fourth.
But Jones believes there is still plenty of time to make up for lost ground.
Despite Manchester United dominating, Olivier Giroud snatched a late point for Arsenal
"It is crazy. If we had won then we would have been three points behind Arsenal," the 43-year-old added.
"Arsenal have had a ‘world class’ season and we are supposed to have had an average season. That is just the way the Premier League works.
"But we are pleased with the performance. We created chances and probably should have scored more.
“There is no need to panic yet. We have been playing well and creating chances, it is just that bit of luck that we need and hopefully it will come soon.”
