Lucas Perez scored his only goals against Nottingham Forest in the EFL Cup
But the 28-year-old has made just three Premier League appearances - totalling 87 minutes - and hasn't played in any competition since October 25 in the EFL Cup against Reading.
Wenger has deployed Alexis Sanchez through the middle this season and has Olivier Giroud as his back up striker.
Perez can also play out wide but Theo Walcott, Mesut Ozil, Alex Iwobi and Aaron Ramsey have been preferred in the attacking midfield roles this season.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has also been used off the bench leaving Perez with little chance of making his way into the team.
His only goals for Arsenal came against Nottingham Forest in the EFL Cup - when he scored twice.
However his agent has denied he will be on the move again.
