Leeds United and Newcastle fans pay warm tribute to legend Gary Speed
LEEDS UNITED and Newcastle fans paid tribute to Gary Speed in the 11th minute of their Championship clash today.
Gary Speed was remembered by both sets of fans today
Speed died at the age of 42 five years ago this month.
The former Wales international was an icon at both Leeds and Newcastle, amassing over 500 appearances combined for the two clubs.
A sell-out Elland Road paid their respects to Speed, who went on to manage Sheffield United and Wales, 11 minutes into the game.
And his name was chanted throughout the match from both sets of supporters.
