Andreas Christensen is open to returning to Chelsea if he is promised game time, according to Borussia Moenchengladbach chief Max Eberl.
The German club are keen to sign the Danish defender permanently as he goes into his final season of a two-year loan spell - but Eberl admits this is unlikely to happen due to his ‘attachment’ to the Blues.
"It will be hard work," he told Sky Germany. "I hope it can happen, but I do not know if we're going to buy him. Probably not.
"Andreas is very attached to Chelsea,” he added. “He also says that if he gets the chance to play for Chelsea, he'll go back."

The 19-year-old has been given his first call-up to the senior Denmark squad, and could make his debut against Kazakhstan on Friday.
And the Daily Mail claim both the Blues and Manchester City will have scouts in attendance at Denmark’s game to run the rule over Dolberg.
This comes after Manchester United reportedly dispatched their own team of scouts to watch the youngster last week.
