Olivier Giroud reveals plans for Arsenal first-team return
OLIVIER GIROUD is targeting a return to the Arsenal first team ahead of tomorrow night's Champions League clash with Ludogorets.
No selection headache after Giroud's goals insists Wenger
Giroud is yet to start a Premier League game this season, losing his place in the starting XI to Alexis Sanchez.
The 30-year-old returned late to pre-season following his run to the finals of Euro 2016 with France and has also been niggled with a toe injury.
However, the Frenchman came off the bench against Sunderland to score two late goals at the weekend in the 4-1 win.

And speaking ahead of tomorrow night's Champions League clash with Ludogorets (7.45pm), Giroud sounded hopeful of a return to the Gunners first team.
"My turn will come," Giroud said.
"I came back late from the Euros and was not fit enough to play straight away, then unfortunately I had an annoying injury.
"Obviously I prefer to be on the pitch but I needed to take my time.
"My injury is now behind me and I want to look forward now and qualify for the next stage of the Champions League. I am pleased to be back.
"There's also a big game on Sunday. I am just concentrating on what I have to do."

And Giroud thinks his late two goals against Sunderland at the weekend will have helped his cause for a return to the Arsenal starting XI.
"Fortunately, I finished well the work of the team," Giroud added.
"I feel good on the pitch. I just need to play and play more. And, with training, show I am in good form."
