Sanchez has been deployed up front by Wenger at Arsenal this season, and the Chilean has responded with six goals in his last 10 matches.
But Giroud has now returned to fitness after a toe injury and made his comeback in Tuesday’s 2-0 EFL Cup victory over Reading.
And Arsene Wenger has revealed Sanchez could be moved out wide to allow Giroud to come into the side.

If Giroud starts I have to move Alexis out
“They are completely different, but they can as well play together,” Wenger said.
“[If Giroud starts] I have to move Alexis out as I always have that problem with Ozil being behind the striker, he cannot move much deeper.
“As [if you are] much deeper, you need defensively to work.
Wenger admits he will have to move Sanchez out wide to start Giroud
"So one [striker] would have to move wide. And if you move one of them wide, it can only be Alexis.
“[Alexis and Giroud] are two top players. It is not a bad option - it is a good option to have.
"To leave quality players out is tough. But the toughest thing is not to have quality players.”
