Man Utd Player Ratings: Shocking Smalling, AWOL Ibrahimovic and woeful Pogba flop
EXPRESS SPORT brings you Manchester United's player ratings from their 4-0 defeat to Chelsea.
Bad Joke Battle: Jose Mourinho vs John Bishop
De Gea: Helpless for Chelsea's four goals. The Spaniard spent much of the game shaking his head in frustration at the poor defending in front of him - 5
Valencia: Got forward well and was United's main attacking outlet - 5
Bailly: Booked in the first half and taken off with an injury in the second. Not a great day for the Ivorian - 5
Smalling: Was caught sleeping for Chelsea's opener, lost the flight of the ball for Cahill's goal then allowed Kante to dance past him. Awful - 3
Blind: A lack of communication with Smalling allowed Pedro to nip in and score and he never recovered mentally - 4
Manchester United's Ander Herrera, Chris Smalling and Paul Pogba look dejected
Herrera: Man of the match on Monday but one of several poor performers today - 4
Fellaini: Seemed to play further up the pitch but the game passed him by. Taken off at half-time - 5
Pogba: Two goals against Fenerbahce but the Frenchman was poor today. Did nothing of note and failed to dominate the midfield. Booked for a rash tackle - 4
Lingard: Another big game and another ineffectual performance. Subbed off for Anthony Martial - 4
Rashford: Worked hard tracking back but defending in the final third is clearly not where he wants to be - 5
Ibrahimovic: Had a very presentable chance to end his goal drought after Pedro's goal but headed over the bar. The Swede saw a couple efforts stopped by Courtois but failed to do enough - 4
