LEE DIXON has hit back with a witty response after he was snubbed from a recent Arsene Wenger ultimate Arsenal XI.
Lee Dixon was snubbed in UEFA's ultimate Arsenal XI
Wenger is celebrating his 20th anniversary with the Gunners this season - one which could be his last given his contract expires next summer.
To commemorate the Frenchman's huge achievements at the club the Champions League compiled an Arsenal all-time XI this week.
The side was awash with club legends, including Thierry Henry, Dennis Berkamp, Patrick Vieira and David Seaman.
However, one notable absentee in defence was former right-back Lee Dixon who missed out to ex-France international Lauren.
Twitter users asked why the 52-year-old was not included in the side, to which Dixon replied: "@ChampionsLeague @Arsenal I was for 15 years that will do me."
Dixon made 458 appearances for the Gunners between 1987 and 2002, winning the Premier League and old first division on two occasions.
The right-back also earned 22 caps for England.
