MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly keeping an eye on Benfica left-back Alex Grimaldo.

The 21-year-old is a product of Barcelona’s famed La Masia youth set-up.
But he left the club earlier in January to join the Portuguese side for just £1.3million.
Grimaldo's since gone on to impress for Benfica domestically and in Europe.
And according to the Daily Mail, club scouts from United watched the 21-year-old last night as the Portuguese side beat Feirense 4-0.

Grimaldo scored his first goal for the club from a free-kick late on.
The newspaper claim Grimaldo, who’s been linked with Manchester City, has a £51million buy-out clause in his contract.
