Rob Page is adamant Northampton are not just going to make up the numbers
United are on a poor run of form going into tonight’s EFL Cup third round match against Northampton (7.45pm), having lost their last three matches.
Pressure has already started to mount on Jose Mourinho and reports suggesting unrest in the United dressing room have begun to surface.
Northampton boss Page has admitted he won’t be taking anything for granted and expects a tough test against the Red Devils.
However, he remains hopeful his side can cause an upset at Sixfields, especially if they stick to their game plan.

“Whatever team Jose Mourinho puts out will be full of quality but we’ve proven in this competition that on our day we are a match for anyone,” Page said.
“It’s about us, how we approach the game and we want to give a good account of ourselves.
“We know we are in for a tough test and we are not going to underestimate them, all we can do is try and execute our game plan.
