England call-up Southampton goalkeeper Alex McCarthy after Fraser Forster injury
ALEX MCCARTHY has been called into Sam Allardyce’s England squad following Fraser Forster’s withdrawal through injury.

The Southampton goalkeeper replaces his club-mate and will join the camp at St. George’s Park this evening.
The 26-year-old gained three caps for England U21s and has previously been in the senior set-up for the friendlies against the Republic of Ireland and Brazil in May 2013.
McCarthy signed from Crystal Palace earlier this summer.
Joe Hart is expected to stay Allardyce's first-choice goalkeeper when England take on Slovakia on Sunday.
Hart sealed a loan move to Torino on transfer deadline day after being frozen out of Manchester City by Pep Guardiola.
Burnley's Tom Heaton is expected to now be second-choice.
