Newcastle star leaves training to complete move: Tottenham have made bid
MOUSSA SISSOKO has been allowed to leave France’s training camp at Clairefontaine to complete a move away from Newcastle.
Moussa Sissoko looks set to leave Newcastle today
The midfielder has been looking to leave the Magpies all summer after a successful Euro 2016 campaign with France.
Tottenham appears to be his most likely destination after the north London club tabled a £15m bid for the 27-year-old.
But that is less than half of Newcastle’s valuation and Spurs will have to increase their offer to seal a deal.
Sissoko was with France preparing for a friendly match in Bari tomorrow night with Italy.

But the French national team posted on Twitter: "Moussa Sissoko was allowed by [France manager] Deschamps to leave Clairefontaine at 9am in order to complete a transfer."
Sissoko joined Newcastle from Toulouse for an undisclosed fee in January 2013, but has been looking to leave the club following their relegation to the Championship.
Earlier this summer he admitted he wanted to move to a Champions League club.
Sissoko said: "I gave everything there for three-and-a-half years. I hope that they will be smart enough to understand that, to continue my development, I need to keep playing at the highest level.
"As I want to stay in the France team I could not stay in the Championship. There will be discussions. I hope they will go in my opinion. I want to leave.
"I want to continue my career in England, at a club that plays in the Champions League because I think this best fits my style of play."
