Man Utd seal deal for key Tottenham man
MANCHESTER UNITED have snapped up Tottenham's academy coach Kieran McKenna.
Kieran McKenna has joined Manchester United's academy coaching staff
The 30-year-old was previously a player for Spurs before a hip injury curtailed his career.
McKenna went on to coach Tottenham's academy sides and his crowning moment was helping the Under-18s side reach the FA Youth Cup semi-final a year ago.
United have slowly been overhauling their academy staff.
And the Daily Mail claim McKenna will fill the void left behind by Paul McGuinness, who left the club in February.
McKenna started working at the club's Carrington training complex on Thursday.
However, he formally began in his new role yesterday.
United's Under-18s enjoyed a 5-1 victory over Everton at the weekend.
