Confirmed: Chelsea midfielder seals exit
MARKO MARIN has joined Olympiakos on a permanent deal from Chelsea.
Marko Marin made just six Premier League appearances for Chelsea
The midfielder joined Chelsea in 2012 from Werder Bremen.
But he failed to make a significant impact at Stamford Bridge.
In four years with the Blues he made just six Premier League appearances, scoring once against Wigan back in February 2013.
He spent most of his time on loan, being shipped out to Sevilla, Fiorentina, Anderlecht and Trabzonspor.
And he has now left Chelsea on a permeant deal and joined Greek side Olympiakos.
Marin's departure could free up room for Blues boss Antonio Conte to make more signings this summer.
Conte has signed just two first-team players this summer - N'Golo Kante and Michy Batshuayi - for a combined £63.3million.
However, Express Sport understands the Italian has as much as £140m available to spend on new recruits if he decides to move for more players before deadline day.
