BLAISE MATUIDI has reportedly asked to leave Paris Saint-Germain for Juventus - handing Chelsea a boost in their bid to retain Nemanja Matic.

Juventus are thought to be interested in landing either Matuidi or Matic to fill the gap in midfield left by Paul Pogba's departure.

Reports suggest Fabregas could be offered to Juve as a sweetener to stop Allegri's pursuit of Matic, although Conte was quick to distance the player from a move away from Stamford Bridge.
"Cesc is Chelsea’s player and I’m happy with his attitude and behaviour," Conte said.
"He must know when you are at a great team like Chelsea I have to take decisions before the game, to choose a starting 11."
