Mikel John Obi prepares to back-heel nut-meg Paul Pogba
Chelsea midfielder Mikel John Obi - who recently changed his name from John Obi Mikel - is currently on international duty with Nigeria at the Rio Olympics.
The 29-year-old has captained Nigeria to top of Group B with two wins over Japan and Sweden and defeat to Colombia.
But Mikel has found time to send a message to Manchester United’s world-record signing Pogba on the eve of the new season.
“Welcome back to the @premierleague @paulpogba - looking forward to facing you again my friend #EPL,” Mikel tweeted, alongside footage of him nut-megging Pogba.
In the clip from a Nigeria game against France, Mikel - with his back to Pogba - flicks a back-heel through the United new boy’s legs, leaving him to puff out his cheeks and watch on.
Mikel could face Pogba again when Chelsea host Manchester United on October 22 - Jose Mourinho’s first return to Stamford Bridge since he joined the Red Devils.
