World Cup winner set to sign for Swansea
FERNANDO LLORENTE will undergo a medical at Swansea on Friday before sealing his move from Sevilla on a two-year deal.
Fernando Llorente is set to sign for Swansea
His arrival provides Swansea with some much-needed forward reinforcements following the departures of Bafetimbi Gomis, Eder and Alberto Paloschi.
The World Cup winner, 31, will become the Welsh club’s fourth summer signing after the arrivals of Leroy Fer, Mike van der Hoorn and Mark Birighitti.
Llorente only joined Sevilla from Juventus last summer, where he scored seven times as the La Liga side secured European football by winning the Europa League.
The Spaniard was part of his country's side that won the World Cup in 2010, where he spent much of the tournament playing second fiddle to Fernando Torres and David Villa.
